Sunday, September 3rd around 1:00pm a fire broke out in the Cascadel community of North Fork. Life long family friends, Judy
Linda and her husband Don Horn, residents of Cascadel for over 25 years, are now the victims of the horrible fire now named the Mission Fire.
Judy was working in Fresno for the day while her husband Don was home, Don became aware of the blaze below their home and then got a knock on the door saying pack up you need to evacuate. Having been told this over the years he began to gather items to save and only a few short minutes later another knock came on the door saying to get out now not having time to grab the items placed by the door to take with him. Judy and Don now have nothing but the clothes on their back, even having their property cleared and very well maintained wasn't enough to spare their home from the devastating wild fire.
Please if you are able to help this wonderful caring family, there is no amount too little and they will forever be gratefull for you contributions so they can begin purchasing clothing and find housing until they can rebuild.
