To our dear brother Juan Delgado.

My brother being in dialysis for OVER 15 year's already. He was a VERY funny person, always joking, and always full of life. He was extremely resilient even throughout his sickness. Juan was sick pretty much all of his life, he has always had health issues yet still found life in the midst of his sickness. He lived his life to the fullest and how he wanted and later on realized that his kids were the most important to him and his grandson. He unfortunately had many regrets, some he talked about everyday. With this he grabbed the courage to fight for his life and he fought LONG and STRONG no matter how uncomfortable he felt because of his sickness. He had a surgery in 2011 and slowly but surely he started going down. His last wish was to talk to Natasha, Justin, and Joshua but he couldn't so he told my daughter Andrea to tell them that he loves them very much and he always thought about them. For those of you who know him know that he was always a sickly person and that he has been very close to death several times throughout his life but he was a very strong individual and he had life so he never missed a day of Dialysis and he even won awards for perfect attendence. They gave him prizes and everything. He fought until God decided to take his last breath away. For those of you who don't know he had already planned his funeral/memorial 3x with Andrea and Carmen. Carmen was an amazing women to my brother Juanito. They had been together since 2010 and she became his caregiver. He always raved about how good she was with him, and in the end she made sure he was bathed on a daily basis, ate 3 good meals a day, and she gave him his medicine daily. She would go downstairs and clean his house, wash his clothes, and even insisted on putting up a Christmas tree without really being able to breathe. To tell you how funny he was, when he put a Christmas tree up with his breathing issue as soon as it was done He Tells Carmen to call Andrea so that she can get a Taxi for him to go to the hospital. He was strong, he was funny, and he even said that made a lot of mistakes he regrets but he said he loved his kids and family. He jokingly planned his memorial but told Andrea a day before Thanksgiving that he was going to die because he can't breath and he was getting a lot of consistent seizures. Fyi, he said he wanted to go home already and have a Tobacco and die with it peacefully. This shows you just how funny he was! We ask everyone that could help out to please do so that we can give him what he deserves. Thank you all so much! We will post details of his funeral/memorial on Facebook.
