Sweet Sawyer's Medical Expenses

Donation protected
On December 21, 2012 my sister delivered a beautiful baby boy named Sawyer Thomas Smith.  Weighing in at 5 pounds 13 ounces and 19 inches long, he was absolutely precious.  Right away the doctors knew there was something wrong.  He was unable to cry and eat, his muscle tone was very poor, and he was non-responsive to pain and sound.  Over the next few weeks he began to show signs of seizures, and thats when he was rushed to Cook Children's Hospital in Fort Worth, Texas.
The amazing doctors at Cooks spent many days running test and evaluating Sawyer and figured out he had a very rare chromosome disorder called 10 Qter Syndrome, which is an unbalanced translocation of his 10th and 2nd chromosome.  He has since been diagnosed with Autism as well.  He has had many surgeries to fix his tethered spine, testicles, ears, and will have many more in the future.  Although he has many medical issues he will have to deal with for the rest of his life, he is truly a blessing.  He has touched so many lives in the two years he has been with us.  We couldn't imagine our lives without this amazing miracle.
My sister and brother in law try so hard to keep it together for him and his older sister Avery.  But of course money has become tight because of constant medical bills.  Sawyer is about to endure another surgery in a couple of weeks, and I would love to help in any way possible.  With your help we can take some of the stress off of Morgan and Jordan so they can worry about the important things in life.  Thank you so much for helping, it is greatly appreciated!!!
