Young teen shot in the head before graduation
On May 3rd 2019 at 10pm, Kevin Reyes (20 years old) was shot at the entrance of his home in Opalocka. Kevin was coming home from a day of preparation for his graduation the next day. Kevin a Miami Dade student majoring in Education, a loving son, devoted brother and loyal friend struggled for his life while a heartless person tried to rob him and shot him in the head with no sympathy for his life. The pain and scare our family went through is unbearable and wouldn’t wish it on anyone. Kevin was expected to walk the stage for his associates degree today and he wasn’t given the chance because of this accident. Kevin has no medical insurance and the bills are extremely high for his mother to bare on her own, we are also raising to help his family get out of the home where they no longer feel safe and into a place where they all feel safe to come home. We ask for you to think of his pain and donate anything possible.+ Read More
We want to thank everyone who has contributed to our family by sending well wishes, prayers and donated. Our family can’t begin to express how grateful and blessed we are to have Kevin alive and healing along with the immense amount of love we have received. Kevin is expected to have a full recovery with time and will be home soon. By the miracle of god and your prayers the bullet grazed his head without doing any damage to his brain. Kevin send his loves and gratitude to each and every one of you and can’t be any more thankful for helping his family!
