Jr National Curling Championship

Team Runing is a competitive junior curling team that has a combined experience of over 48 years. We compete across the Midwest and Canada in tournaments called bonspiels. Recently, our team qualified at west regionals with an impressive 6-1 record, which earned us a spot at the 2017 Junior National Championships held in Fargo, North Dakota. 

 We are seeking donations to help fund the expenses of hotel, travel, food, equipment, and the numerous other costs that follow such an event. Because junior curling is not affiliated with any school or other sanction, all costs must be payed for individually. Taking place January 15th-21st, there is a very limited time in which we are able to fund raise. 

Team Runing took 2nd place at the 2016 Junior National Championship, and believe that we have a very good chance at winning nationals. This would mean we would qualify for the Junior World Curling Championship in South Korea, which is also the site of the 2018 Winter Olympics. This event is a 10-day tournament February 16th-26th in which we would represent USA and compete with the top nations in the world. This is also an extremely expensive trip and with little time to fundraise with practices, traveling, and school.
