Attention Patches Pals!
The webmaster for the official JP Patches website (jppatches.com ) for the past 10 years is no longer able to support the site. The monthly hosting costs and domain name renewal have become too much for him to bear and he is in arrears with his web hosting company.
I, Curt Hanks, have agreed to take over the hosting and domain registration going forward (with the blessing of Mrs. Wedes), but the matter of past due fees must be cleared up before we can transfer the site to my server. The amount owed is $320. Any funds raised beyond that goal will go towards future hosting and administration costs. The plan is to transfer the existing website, as-is, to my server with a complete redesign with exciting new content coming in the near future. All changes will be done with the approval of Mrs. Wedes.

First and foremost, I am a lifelong, card-carying Patches Pal! I grew up watching The J.P. Patches Show every morning and afternoon in '70s. I have been a product and web designer for Archie McPhee for 15 years. I designed the J.P. Patches Action Figure and the J.P. Patches Nodder as well as two soon-to-be-announced BRAND NEW J.P. Patches products available this fall from Archie McPhee.

About J.P. Patches...
J.P. Patches was the host of one of the longest running local children's shows in television history. "The J.P. Patches Show" aired on KIRO-TV in Seattle from 1958-1981 and broadcast over 10,000 episodes in its 23 year run. Just about every kid who grew up in the Northwest during that time tuned in as Julius Pierpont Patches, Mayor of the City Dump, entertained them with cartoons, sketches and special guests. Chris Wedes continued to play J.P. for over 50 years right up until he passed away on July 22, 2012. He delighted fans both young and old with many public and private appearances.
