I set this up on behalf of Joy Danley, her words are below. She needs to have as many baskets filled by April 12th so any donations will need to be in by Tuesday, April 11th.

"I need your help! 1000 Easter baskets for the homeless children in our community!
Baskets of Love ❤️
"Baskets of Love," is a community project to send encouragement & love to our local homeless children to tell them that we care about them. Lucia Mar School District has a list of 1000 students in our school system that are homeless. We want to encourage these children to continue their education and make a better life for themselves. We have 75 high school students, 100 middle school students and 825 elementary students from kindergarten to sixth grade that are homeless in our area. This Easter please help me to put a smile on these children's faces with a note of encouragement and an Easter basket of goodies.
Here are the items we have put in baskets in the past.
High school and middle school baskets: socks, personal hygiene products, cosmetics, wet wipes or washcloths, flashlights, laundry detergent, quarters for the laundromat, hair brushes, pens and pencils, gift cards to grocery stores or Walmart, healthy snacks, candy, clothes, backpacks etc.
Elementary school baskets: socks, books, games, stuffed animals, clothing, school supplies, shampoo, soap, toothbrushes, healthy snacks, candy, stuffed animals, etc."
