Journey to Borneo

Our project is simple: Symphonic Planet is a group of musicians, composers, and sound designers who travel the world in search of inspiring and captivating sounds. We compose cinematic music infused with the natural sounds and native instruments we encounter on our quests. Each journey is compiled into a documentary-style story for our fans to follow our adventures.

Every culture and landscape we visit is another page in the story of our planet, and we think of ourselves as goodwill ambassadors, traveling the globe and dedicating our musical talents to the cultures and spaces we encounter, honoring them with our work and our art.

Symphonic Planet is gearing up for our next project: the Jungles of Borneo! We will study traditional instruments and sample sounds of the jungle at night, compiling it all into a cinematic musical composition, then we compile our recordings into sound libraries for you to use too!

Each journey is expensive and can cost thousands of dollars. So far, they have been completely self-funded. We believe we are creating powerful cultural connections and have learned so much about the world through our first few projects. We would love to have your help funding these musical quests. Your contribution would help us purchase better quality microphones, camera equipment, travel expenses, and offset post-production expenses.
