Josiah's Journee Healing Campaign

My name is Jeff Weiberg. Since 2009, I have watched my brother, Jim, and sister-in-law, Alesha, display the greatest love and compassion anyone could imagine. Jim and Alesha have had three children. Each of their children were born with Spinal Muscular Atrophy Type-1, an incurable neuromuscular disease. On March 5, 2016, Jim and Alesha’s last child, Journee, passed away from this disease.

I am raising money for two purposes. First, insurance would not cover the cost of funeral expenses for their princess. I want to raise enough money so they can pay for all the funeral costs and buy a headstone for their sweetheart. Second, Jim and Alesha have willingly and courageously cared for their children through every circumstance. They were on duty to care for and treat their children 24/7 – 365 days a year. They learned to run medical equipment, they woke up at a moments notice to assist every need their children had. They were nurse, parent and provider for three children who constantly needed their love and attention. They are my hero’s and I would love to see this financial burden lifted from them.

Now, their house is empty. The machines are turned off and their babies are in heaven. We imagine all three are running, for the first time, and jumping around together in heaven. But, Jim and Alesha are now by themselves.

Please consider showing Jim and Alesha how much you love them by helping them with funeral costs and other expenses incurred in caring for Josiah, Journee and Jace.

Thank you for your consideration.
