#JoshSanbornStrong - Join The Fight

Donation protected
Thank you for coming to Josh's fundraising page and for reading his story! Josh has put, Sarah Sanborn (sister) and Danielle Dux (cousin), in charge of his GoFundMe page so he can focus on healing.

When It Started
It started with just a common cold that did seem to go away. After several trips to the doctor's office and fed-up with being continuously exhausted, his doctor ordered some blood work.

In June, Josh was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL). It was a shock to his family and friends. Our humorous Josh, who exercised regularly, loved to go fishing, and gave much of his time to help those who struggled with addiction was suddenly knocked down by cancer. Words can't explain how all of us are feeling right now. He is loved so much!

Life For The Next 3 Years
Treatment quickly started two days after diagnosis. Due to his lengthy, aggressive treatment plan, Josh has to put college at NDSU on hold and is unable to work. His treatment plan has caused him to be diabetic, which complicates his treatment further. He has to limit his contact with people and will not receive any of his work benefits either.

Even though Josh should be focusing on himself, he hasn't stopped wanting to help others. He has volunteered to be part of a case study. He hopes his case will help advance treatments of future patients and ease their fears.

Please Help Our Josh
We fear the costs of treating his cancer. Thankfully, we're blessed with strong family support and friendships. We're all coming together to help him win this fight, but we can't do it without you. We need your help too in the form of donations! So far, most of his days have been spent in the hospital or ICU with doctors trying to get complications under control. Without an income or benefits, money is needed to help his fight.

You're donation will go directly toward Josh's care to help pay for things such as hospital bills, transportation, gas, drugs, food for his new diet, household items to keep his home germ free, hired help, etc. If any money is left over after Josh is cured, he plans to donate the extra to Roger Maris Cancer Center to help future cancer patients in the area.

Spread The Word
If you're not able to donate today, please spread the word about Josh's fight. Share #JoshSanbornStrong on social media and talk about it with family and friends. Even donating a couple dollars will add up. Anything helps!

Thank You!
From Josh, "I don't know what to say... I can't believe complete strangers are willing to help. Thank you so much. I really mean it. There are no words to express how thankful I am for your help."

All of us can't thank you enough for your willingness to help win this fight. There's so much we want to share with you. If you have time, please continue reading these special words from family and friends.

Special Words From Family And Friends

Evan Johnson
I met Josh over 4 years ago through Narcotics Anonymous. When I first saw him I thought, "Who is this bearded wild man just laughing it up all the time?" Since then, he has become my closest friend. Words cannot express my gratitude for all his help in my life. He listens when I need to talk and motivates me when I don't feel like going to the gym. He's not the type of guy who would ask for help paying for his treatment, so I am asking instead. Please donate. Your donation is important to me. Josh is important to me. It will help ease his stress so he can focus on getting better.
