Josh's Blessing Bag & Toy Donations

Hi,
My name is Josh and am 9 years old. I am collecting travel size tolietries, snacks, drinks and alot of other items to make blessing bags and new toys for the Homeless to have a nice christmas and be happy. This is my 2nd year making bags and 1st for toys. You can Google Josh's Blessing Bags to see my story from the news last year. This year am so excited I have drop off boxes at 3 locations as well as dates set up to meet people like I did last year. I now have a Facebook page under Josh's Blessing Bags with all info posted, pictures and updates. I really want to help alot of people and kids this year and wanted to start collecting donations the week of Thanksgiving but I sprained my ankle and couldn't start until Dec.8th. I started the same time last year and made 135 blessing bags that I gave out on Christmas Eve and a few more days that week since it was pouring outside. I also gave 25 blessing bags to my church to give out to those in need. I have many different areas to give my presents out to depending how many donations I can get. I am collecting donations until Dec.23rd 7pm. I am really excited to see how many people I can help this year. I wanted to make this gofundme page for anyone who wants to help me but can't get to me or any of my drop off boxes. I will go shopping with my parents to buy things I need for my bags and pick out some toys myself. I have met some really nice people that donate to me and I give things to and it makes me love doing this so much.

***Hello this is Josh's mom Kris. I just wanted to thank you for taking the time to read and supporting Josh. I know some people are funny about donating money anywhere and I understand. We would prefer to see people or donate to his boxes and only made this for the people who can't make it to help Josh that way. Josh had someone mail him a check, $25 Walmart Gift Card, $20 & $10 cash. All of these donations Josh will go shopping and buy what's needed in the end and as he needs things. We have always taken pictures of every donation and what is bought with the money. I do that not only for people to see but for Josh's memories to never forget anything. My husband and I thank all the kind people who support Josh, donate, like & share his Facebook page or just simply send Josh a nice message. If it wasn't for you guys helping Josh he wouldn't be able to do this. Its important for people to share his story or no one would know about Josh and what a great thing he is doing for others. I can't ask any companies to donate to Josh because I learned last year they want a tax id number for the write off so we turned to Facebook to try to find some friends to help out. I will also post on here drop off box locations & dates set to see Josh in person if you prefer that. As of today Josh has 7 donations, 8 pending and plenty of time for more :). Happy Holidays!
