Josh DeSmit's Independent Art Tour

Hello, my name is Josh DeSmit and I have recently embarked on a journey to fulfill my dream of becoming a full time working artist.  It is a very exciting, yet intimidating time. The creative juices are flowing at an all time high, and I am creating work at a pace I've never been able to achieve before.  I have recently begun a summer art fair tour that includes several stops in my home state of Minnesota and will bring me to Colorado for a whole month starting in mid July.  My hopes for Colorado are to gain traction in the western sporting art community by having a good showing at these fairs, as well as knocking on doors of fly shops and galleries to share my work.  The Colorado portion of the journey is why I need your help.  Due to significant repairs to my recently purchased truck (which was acquired for the purpose of art travel), and hefty fees to enter the fairs, my summer budget has been greatly reduced.   These expenses, coupled with needed print inventory, gas money, truck payments, and camping fees are leaving my trip looking tough to scratch out.  With just a bit of financial security I believe that I will have a successful summer season, and be propelled into a fall of creating meaningful work to share with the community at large.  For your gracious support I will be offering cool incentives at different levels in the form of prints and original art.

Any amount is appreciated, but if you donate at a particular level there will be some sweet art goods coming your way.  I will work with individuals to ensure they receive something they will enjoy in terms of imagery.

1. At $20 you will receive a poster print.

2. At $100 or more you will receive a plush, signed and numbered, limited edition giclee print.

3. At $200 or more you will receive a custom original fly box.

4. At $500 or more I will create an original work of art to your liking on a 20"x24" canvas.

5. At $1000 or more I will create and original work of art of your liking on a 30"x40" canvas.
