Led by the Diversity Network and the Black Canadians Media group, this is the first ever "Black Canadian Queen - Beauty Pageant" event!

Josephine Mensah is the contestant representing Saskatoon, Saskatchewan in this national pageant. As home-town girl of Saskatoon, she is very actively involved with community-based programming and employment services supports for diverse female and youth groups.

Josephine's platform of employment and entrepreneurship mirrors the Black Canadian Queen (BCQ) theme of "Today's Black Woman", an idea which supports a positive, self-confident and ambitious individual championing causes, telling inspiring stories of resilience and making dreams a reality!

The winner of the BCQ will have a strong campaign backing, elegant style and become an authentic role model to all Canadians in this first-ever event, help Josephine along with her travel and pageant expenses on her journey to making history and by supporting her Go Fund Me Campaign!
