Thank you for taking the time to read this out of your day. I won’t make it too long.
Not long ago I discovered a love and passion for making beautiful and easy to understand websites. It started with a small business venture, and as most it didn’t succeed but it hit me that I knew what I was supposed to do.
I’m a self taught graphic designer and wanted to change the world with a poster. It sounds lame, I know, but I met a very curious person who got me on the idea of making an ecommerce store with my printed graphics. From him I discovered Wordpress, Shopify, and Squarespace with all of this potential literally at my fingertips.
Moving, scaling, learning what an SVG image even means, I got the bug. And I wanted more.
Soon, I started to learn and understand what coding is and the internet of things. HTML, CSS, JavaScript. It has been a challenge that I simply can’t put down. Ask my girlfriend
Then, the worst happened. I am taking classes online from TeamTreehouse on full stack JavaScript. I load up, press play, and my computer just stops. No pinwheel, no please wait. In five minutes, it goes black.
I took my laptop to a specialist, and found out the processor on my 2012 MacBook did it’s time and clocked out.
There is good news!!
I am able to get my files! But sadly I have no way of working with them. All is at a halt.
I come to you on GoFundMe with the only thing I have, a will push forward. I need your help so I can continue!
My goal feels high but it’s enough to get me back running for my goal to create awesomeness on the web!
