Jose luis maldonado & Son..

In loving memory of my father, Jose Luis Maldonado; who  began to experience health problems in January of 2017.  My name is Liliana Maldonado and my fathers story is one of courage, strength and love. He was an active and fun loving father and grandfather when, 2 years ago he had his first stroke. This event drastically altered the course of his life, and although he fought hard to maintain his previous lifestyle, the stroke, coupled with resulting complications, took his life yesterday, August 15 2018. This has been a shock for me and my family. We had hope that he would make a full recovery , but are now left with broken hearts and scrambling with ways to finance his burial. To add even more heartache to our loss, my baby brother is having difficulties traveling from Mexico to be here for our father's  funeral. He was deported 9 years ago and was told that he could not apply for reentry for 10 years. In order for him to attend the funeral, he will need to retain an attorney in Mexico. This is estimated to cost at least $2,500; in addition to the burial costs that are estimated to be between 5-6 thousand dollars.
 I am here today to reach out to family and friends. It is my hope and prayer that many of you will see it in your hearts to donate whatever amount you are led to help with. This was very unexpected, and unfortunately we are not prepared  emotionally or financially. My husband and I are organizing additional fundraising efforts, but we are concerned that we will not meet the financial needs necessary to get through this difficult time. We realize that many of us are going through financial difficulties and we want each and every one of you to know, that any amount will be appreciated beyond words.  We are continuing in prayer and we have unrelenting  faith.  Thank you for your love, support, and continued prayers as we weather this storm.
