Campaign created 10 months ago

Hello, this campaign is for the Jones Family. I'm anonymously starting this campaign for a very good friend of mine in great need at the moment. Nicholette Jones, her brother and fiance were involved in a house fire the night of 01/31/2018 and luckily managed to leave unharmed, however, at moment are limited on resources. Everything was lost in the fire clothes, personal items, etc. as well as car keys so they cant acees cars for the time being either . We're asking for a small donation of $1.00 from as many people can spare to help in this time to cover living and travel means until some of their things can be recovered. WE UNDERSTAND THE TIMING IS AROUND TAX SEASON AND A LOT OF SCAMS ARE GOING AT THE MOMENT HOWEVER THE FIRE IS COVERED ON WGN and CBS where Ms. Jones is interviewed as well IF YOU NEED PROOF OF THE INCIDENT. ANY questions you can message The Jones' family via facebook at the link below . Even if you have nothing monetary to offer keep them in good thought please.

THANKS IN ADVANCE! http://wgntv.com/2018/01/31/apartment-fire-displaces-16-families-in-westmont/

"WESTMONT, Ill. -- A three-alarm fire gutted an apartment building in Westmont overnight, and left dozens of people temporarily homeless.

The fire started just before 2 a.m. Wednesday at an 18-unit apartment building, located at 6703 Park Lane.

About 30 area fire districts were involved, which amounts to about 100 firefighters.

Crews had a hard time putting out the fire due to the cold temperatures and high winds.

The apartment manager says the building has been deemed uninhabitable.

The fire displaced 16 families, including a number of children.

Residents believe the fire's origin is an outside light fixture that sits right above a doorway.

The cause of the fire is under investigation."
