Jolan Prochnicki-Fortune Treatment

I'm not even sure how to begin. Jolan has been one of my best friends for many years. We met when I was 17, immediately became friends and we never looked back. She was my maid of honor at my wedding and was there the day my son was born. She is an amazing person and I dont understand why this is happening to such a wonderful soul. We have shared many ups and downs, and despite everything, Jolan perseveres. Always keeping her smile bright and her attitude positive. She is by far one of the most kind and generous people I've ever met. I am beyond proud to call her my friend and I will help her keep fighting. Whenever there is a need, Jolan is there to help in whatever way she can. Now it's my turn. In May 2017 Jolan was diagnosed with breast cancer. Her doctors had her start chemotherapy immediately in hopes to shrink the tumor for easier removal. By fall 2017 she was scheduled for her first surgery - a double mastectomy. Everything went great, except for the cancer that was missed. On to another surgery to remove all lymphnodes in her right arm pit. Now suffering from lymphedema, she went into a second and third round of chemotherapy.  By June 2018 she had completed her chemotherapy and was looking forward to living a life with her new husband. But life had another plan. October 2018, the cancer had spread. It is now Metastasis. Her liver, more lymphnodes on either side of her body and spine are infested with cancer. Surgery is not an option and she has been kicked out of an experimental trial drug to help stop the cancer spreading. So now what? After many tears, hopes shattered and dreams of being cancer free almost gone... theres one option left. Targeted therapy. But it costs $8000 PER MONTH to treat this specific cancer which is EXTREMELY aggressive. That's where the rest of us come in. Help me keep my friend alive. Help us pay for her monthly therapy so we can have hopes of growing old with her, of her and her husband having children and having the life they've always wanted. Jolan and Brett deserve it.
