What was today like for you? Maybe you woke up, got your day started, and went about your day like any other day. Reasonable, right? Know it or not, each action you took was a choice. And each day of our lives, we choose who we're going to be for the world, and whether we're going to make a difference.
Today, you can choose to make THE difference for critically-ill children and their families fighting for a chance at life.
Each day these families and their children wake up and get their day going, just like you. What may be different is that their day is an all-out battle to stay alive with everything they have. Sometimes what they have isn't enough. Illnesses don't choose their hosts based on income. Miracles for Kids, a nonprofit organization in Orange County, CA, fights with these families because they believe families fighting for their children's lives shouldn't have to go homeless or hungry.

No child should miss out on the joy of being a kid. No parent should miss out on the joy of seeing their kids be kids.

On June 9th, 2019 at the Huntington Beach Pier Plaza, we are gathering 1,000+ member of the community to stand with the families and children benefited by Miracles for Kids as our guests of honor for an unforgettable day complete with an outrageous amount of fun and joy to break the record for the largest gathering of people dressed as a fruit or vegetable!
Just imagine an entire section of the beach taken over by more than 1,000 smiling faces of people in fruit/veggie costumes enjoying a carnival-like atmosphere... it's gonna be BANANAS!!
YOUR CONTRIBUTION WILL ENABLE US TO FUND:
- A meaningful donation to Miracles for Kids, who is standing for these families and their children
- Comfortable & safe transportation for the families and children of Miracles for Kids (they don't all have access to vehicles)
- Hospitality amenities for the families and children, as well as some goodies for guests from the community
- Official event costumes so everyone can join in the fruity fun (and count towards the world record)
- Administrative fees to coordinate with the City of Huntington Beach and obtain licenses, event insurance, and more
- Jumbo-sized games like life-size billiards (where humans are the cue) and other fun things
- Walk-around entertainers who do magic, juggling, animal balloons, face painting, and MORE
- An official adjudicator from Guinness World Records so we can officially break the record during the event
- An outrageous world-record banner stretching 50-feet wide to attract as many record-breakers as possible
- An experience of a lifetime... simply, it'll be the BEST JUNE 9TH, 2019 OF OUR LIVES
