Join Jerry’s Fearless Fight

On the morning of July 11th, a serious car accident took place at an intersection of East-West highway. Jerry Andrews fainted at the wheel and was thus T-boned by a heavy duty pick up truck. CPR was administered, he was resuscitated and transported to John’s Hopkins Bayview, where the team in ICU worked to stabilize his condition. Upon arrival, a severe brain bleed was on the rise and several broken bones were discovered, including most ribs and a broken sternum due to CPR. We are beyond grateful that, although he faces a long road of recovery, he is still with us today. That is where our idea for this fundraiser was born! I think I speak for all of those who surround Jerry that he is a knowledgeable optician & jovial co-worker of ours at MyEyeDr Forest Hill, but he’s more than that. He’s a husband, a father to three young girls, a friend. Not only that, but in the year or more that I’ve known Jerry, he has omitted a light from within that could put a smile on anyone who crosses paths with him. Anything, helps, no matter how big or how small, to tide Jerry’s family through his path of healing.
