Background:
Joide Scalzer is a happy and outgoing widow/single mother of one child, who had finished off 2018 happily, being able to spend the holidays with her family in her native country of Brazil. Unexpectedly, shortly after she returned to the United States with her son Euddyvandro, she was diagnosed with a malignant tumor and lung cancer in January of 2019. A malignant tumor (cancerous tumor) is invasive and can spread to other parts of the body. Furthermore, lung cancer originates in the tissues of the lungs or the cells lining the airways (the bronchi).
Current Situation:
As a result of her diagnosis, she has become very weak and hasn't been able to work or provide for her family financially. In addition, she has become very saddened that she is unable to be there to support her son financially and morally due to her circumstances. Being there for her son is something she has always taken a lot of pride in ever since she became a single mother.
Consequently, her beloved son Euddyvandro, who is 18 years of age, has been struggling with the heavy burden of taking on the role as the care provider. Halting his education, and causing him to work countless hours to be able to afford the rent, utilities, car payments and the food on their table. Along with trying to keep up with the costly medical bills that continue to pile up.
Our Ask:
For those that know Joide, she's an incredibly caring and loving mother who has always helped those that are close to her. She has consistently put her family and loved ones first, and often times forgets to take care of herself. Joide needs our support and donations to help her win the battle against cancer.
With these donations, it will show how much support Jodie has while fighting her illness. This support will not only help her and her son Euddyvandro financially, but it will also bring faith and hope to her family and friends.

Depois de ter passado umas férias no Brasil no final do ano 2018 em sua terra Natal, retornou aos Estados Unidos com Euddyvandro, seu filho. Foi aí que Ela foi diagnosticada com um tumor maligno e câncer de pulmão em janeiro de 2019. E um tumor invasivo e pode se espalhar para outras partes do corpo, a deixando muito fraca e sem condições de trabalhar para sustentar sua família financeiramente e moralmente devido a doença. Estar com seu filho, é motivo de muito orgulho. É mãe solteira e luta com grande dificuldade. Hoje, Euddyvandro tem 18 anos de idade, tem sofrido com a situação de sua mãe e com o pesado fardo de assumir o papel de provedor de cuidados, tendo que parar seus estudos e trabalhar para pagar o aluguel, serviços públicos, alimentação, deslocamento, o tratamento e as contas médicas que continuam a se acumular.
Joide, mãe dedicada, pessoa sensivel, precisa muito de nosso apoio e doações para ajudá-la a vencer a batalha contra o câncer trazendo fé e esperança para sua família e amigos.

Unfortunately he was away on travels and was not in the country to be able to withdraw from his account, therefore he asked me to put it under my account so I would be able to withdraw the money and give it to Jodie's family in need to pay for medical bills.
