John's Presidential Summit

Donazione protetta
Dear Sponsor,

We are the proud parents of John Watson and we are writing on behalf of our son who has been selected to attend the Presidential Inauguration Leadership Summit, January 18-22, 2017 in Washington, D.C.  amid the excitement and ceremony surrounding the 58th Inauguration of the President and Vice President of the United States.  This is a once in a lifetime opportunity and we want you to be a part of it.  To learn more about the Presidential Inauguration Leadership Summit, click here .

John is an honor student with outstanding academics, excellent leadership in school and in the community and he has a promising future ahead of him.

Just to name and display a few of his accomplishments and they are as follow:

*President's Education Award for Outstanding Academic Achievement in 2016 by President Barack Obama;

*PG County Science Bowl - Captain of the Highland Park ES Team 2015-16  (see John in action)

In doing so, with coaching from Mrs. Susan Smith, Talented & Gifted (TAG) Coordinator ( [email modificata] ), under the leadership of John Watson (Team Captain), Zora Heneghan, Ruth Bridgers and Rene Hernandez-Talavera, all of Ms. Melissa Mommers’ ( [email modificata] )Fifth Grade TAG class, they accomplished a feat that Mr. Zahren (show host) deemed “had not been done by HPES in the history of the Science Bowl” – they advanced to the Semi-finals!

*Academic Award for Ouststanding Academic Acheivement in 2015 from the White House Businesses click here;

*Nominated in 2016 by his TAG Social Studies teacher,
Mr. Stephen Isler, of Highland Park ES, to attend Envision's National Youth Leadership Forum: Pathways to STEM. He can be contacted at [email modificata]

Our son said "it was a great experience.  It showed me the steps to become a successful medical professional and made me realize that my goal of becoming a research doctor for finding the cure for cancer, was not as far away as I'd thought.  But I pray that reasearchers would find a cure for cancer before I become a reasearch doctor."

We need your help to send John on this life changing endeavor as a former representative of Highland Park Elementary and now representing Kenmoor Middle School.

All contributions are welcomed and appreciated. Your contribution can be listed as a taxable charitable donation to Envision; their Federal Tax # is 45-3214276.  For more information, contact Envision's Admissions Advisor, Mr. Jeffrey Jonson 1 (888) [telefono modificato] ext 195 or click here .  All monies collected will go towards the expenses needed to provide lodging, transportation to and from the events, food and all other necessities.

We need to reach this goal by October 15, 2016 in order to guarantee John's participation. Your contribution is going to change John's life forever! We appreciate you considering our proposal for sponsorship. Feel free to contact us for more information.

Respectfully Yours,

Envision Alumni Parents
