Johnny Kemper Memorial

Donation protected
John Kyle Kemper, my dear brother, passed away on the morning of Thursday, February 23rd. This has been a very difficult time for my mother and I, and all of those who loved him. The amount of love and support that has been shared has been so profound. I deeply thank everyone who has reached out.

As of now, we plan to have John sent back to Idaho to be with our mother, where he will be cremated. We hope to have a service for him in the spring in Paradise, CA where him and I were born.

We are asking for donations to help cover the costs that come with this kind of situation. The memorial, travel expensives, etc.  We'll be taking some time off of work so we can be together as a family to remember and honor him. Any and all helps so much and we truly appreciate every penny.

John was an incredible human being with so much love in his heart. He always put those around him before himself. There wasn't a selfish bone in his body.  He served in the US Army as a combat medic for the first four years of his adult life and then continued to serve his country for four more years through a private contracting company. He completed nine tours to Iraq in that time.

In the final year of his life he tried to adapt to the lifestyle that most of us are so familiar with. He got a job using the skills that he learned from our parents at a young age, how to fix and build things. He loved what he did and those he worked with.

John was extremely well self eduacted. He was interested in a rage of different subjects, from economics to philosophy, and politics to chemistry. He had recently decided to go back to school to study medicine so he could become a doctor. The excitement he showed about being back in school was something I didn't understand but was so much like him. He loved to learn and to be challenged.

It is these things that I will always remember him for. His incredible talent for making people laugh and his larger than life personalitly.

God Bless
