Johnny's Journey through Medicine

As many of you have heard, John S Landbeck III- son of John S Landbeck Jr and Sandra Jean, husband of Jennilyn, father of Emmalyn Ritchie, Stewart, the late Maxwell, Suzanna, Samuel, and Roxie Jane, and soon to be grandfather of baby Ritchie- was injured in a serious accident on his way to work on 23 June 2017, resulting in a serious head injury with severe brain trauma, as well as multiple facial fractures and other less serious injuries.
While we are truly blessed that he is alive, although currently residing at the University of Maryland Rehabilitation facility, and that he has a great job at the Maryland Environmental Service, with good medical insurance, there are, and will continue to be, very overwhelming expenses involved with his recovery, therapy, etc., which are not nearly covered by insurance. (The owner and driver of the at fault vehicle are both minimally insured).
The after care team at UMST indicate a lengthy, mostly in patient, rehabilitation; and will likely have significant impairment once that is achieved. The family is already beginning to feel the financial strain at this very early stage of the process, and forsee the serious need for funds as Johnny progresses.
We continue to be cautiously optimistic about Johnny's progress and ultimate recovery, and want to let all know of the family's eternal gratefulness for the many, many prayers offered up for him, and for us.
