As many of you may have heard, over Memorial Day Weekend, John Ruggiero (or as many of you know him, Ruggs), suffered a traumatic and life threatening situation while at the beach with his family. He was flown from AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center to the Penn Presbyterian Medical Center, but not before being stabilized by his very own mother and medical professionals.
Since his admittance he has received life saving assistance from a respirator, medically induced sedation, to assist with healing, blood thinning and pressure medications, treatments for double pneumonia, dialysis, and more recently, a tracheotomy, as well as multiple MRIs, CAT scans, and ultra sounds to monitor his spine, brain and heart.
The outpouring of love, support, and kind words to our family have been helpful during this difficult time. We are requesting assistance of anyone who can and is willing to help out with the financial burden that the medical bills are already beginning to create.
John's family has worked incredibly hard to create the life that they have been living, and enjoy the simple pleasures of life. However, the financial demand of medical expenses are more than anything that they could have ever financially prepared for and certainly not anything they ever expected to be enduring.
