As many of you have heard, on Thursday, March 2, 2017, John Harvan was rushed to the hospital after becoming suddenly ill while working. He was diagnosed with necrotizing pancreatitis caused by numerous gallstones. Unfortunately, his illness progressed and he was sedated and placed on a ventilator just a few days into his hospital stay. He has been battling with multiple complications affecting his lungs, liver, kidneys, and intestines.
To increase the resources available to treat his fluctuating condition, on March 12th he was transported to Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia, where he remains in serious condition in the Intensive Care Unit. Not surprisingly, John’s parents and sisters have dropped everything to ensure that John is getting the best care and are constantly at his side to see him through this.
As word has spread of what John is going through, many of us have been asking what we can do to help. With all that he and his family are facing, this GoFundMe effort has been started to help pay for John’s growing medical expenses and living expenses while he is unable to work. These funds are also a way for us to show “Team Johnny” our love and support and help to eliminate any additional burden or stress they may be feeling while they remain with him at the hospital, completely focused on his care.
