John Morgan Bernhart, 59, of Mahwah, NJ passed away due to cardiac arrest on Thursday August 2, 2018. Born in Chicago, IL John was raised in Mahwah where he resided most of his life. He was a parishioner of St. Elizabeth RC Church in Wyckoff, NJ. He loved his wife, children, friends, and pets. John was kindhearted and selfless, always putting his family first. He had a passion for sports and grilling.
He was employed as a sales associate with Norman Gale Buick GMC in Cedar Knolls, NJ for many years.
Beloved husband of Louisa Carril. Loving and devoted father of Devon, Tatiana and Natasha. Dear brother of Mark, Sarah, Susie, Jennifer, and Bridget. Adored uncle of Nicholas, Jessica, Amanda, David and Kyle. John was predeceased by his parents John and Nancy Bernhart.
May his soul rest in eternal peace now, always and forever.
John's death has effected his family in many ways. We have set up this fundraiser with the hope that the donations collected will help to ease the burden ahead. Donations will go directly towards memorial expenses and education for his beloved daughters Natasha and Tatiana. Natasha is currently a sophomore at Indian Hills High School and is on the varsity cheerleading squad and will be joining their competition team. Tatiana is extremely passionate about makeup and is planning to enroll in cosmetology school.
