Joey Fowler's Financial Future

Hi my name is Lucille Seebeck.  We have started a gofundme page for Joey Fowler. Joey is 18 years old and graduated from Harrison High School in May 2016. Joey's Grandmother (Marge Carey) is the owner of Pudgy's Diner in Harrison, Michigan. Joey was a resident of Harrison, Michigan throughout his childhood and moved to Eagan, Minnesota in September 2016. Last Friday January 06, 2017 he went into the urgentcy room because the left side of his neck was swelled. The doctors had a CT ordered and at that time Joey was told he had a mass growing on the left side of his neck as well as a bigger mass growing in his chest next to his heart. At this time urgentcy sent him to emergency at Univeristy  of Minnesota.  The team of doctors  told him he could possibly have lymphoma cancer. They set him up with an appointment at the oncologist on that Monday January 09, 2017. The oncologist set up appointments for blood work, a PET scan, and 2 biopsies  to the mass in his neck and his chest. By Friday January 13, 2017 they new he had a very aggressive cancer and that  it was either lymphoma cancer or leukemia. They had him admitted into the Masonic  Children's Hospital at the University of Minnesota Minneapolis, Minnesota  on Friday January 13, 2017. This morning he had to have a spinal tap and bone marrow. The team of doctors had results within hours and Joey has been diagnosed with leukemia. They are starting chemo therapy tonight and will continue to do so for the next 4 to 6 months. Joey lives in Minnesota with Danny Dixon, Samantha Seebeck, and Blayne Fowler. We are raising money for Joey because he will be unable to work for months maybe more. He will be hospitalized for at least a couple weeks up to a month.  After the first month he won't have to stay in the hospital. He will be able to do most of the chemo therapy treatment in outpatient visits. The money you donate will help with Joey's medical expenses, gas money getting back and forth from appointments, household expenses and a new phone (so he can communicate with his family and friends.) Anything that you donate will be a tremendous help. I know that anyone who knows Joey Fowler knows he hates to ask for any help from anyone. But at this time he knows that this needs to be done.
