Joel's Medical and Therapy Expenses

Our son, Joel, is in high need for funds for his medical expenses and recovery from his multiple gunshot wounds. 

Joel was shot 7 times at point blank range by his roommate.  He has severe injuries to his lungs, liver, kidney, and bowels, a broken arm, and his right knee and femur were shattered by a bullet. He was in surgery for about 8 hours when he was brought by ambulance into the ER, and has had orthopedic surgery to attempt to reconstruct his right knee and leg. He has more surgeries to come, and after his injuries are healed, he will have extensive therapy to learn to walk again. Due to missing work for a period of time, Joel will also need assistance with paying his mortgage, household bills and all of these mounting medical expenses.

We wish to thank God for his amazing work, and all our dear friends and family who have been praying tirelessly. We also are thankful for the amazing Bayfront doctors and nurses who are taking great care of Joel.
