Today we are asking for prayers and support for our Orthodox brother in Christ, Joel Brown, and his family.
The heartbreaking news of his stage 4 lung cancer came after Joel visited an allergist for his cough problem. This news shocked the family and our parish because Joel is only in his 30’s, has never smoked, and has always been vigilant caring for his health. He is known for his humility and is taking the news in stride. As you can imagine, the news is devastating to his wife, Mindy, and their three children. She works hard at home educating the children.
A lot of people have been asking how to help Joel, Mindy, and the kids. Please continue praying to God for his healing. In the meantime, please donate what you can for their medical expenses. May God’s blessings be upon you.
