Bike Lake Tahoe for Chai Lifeline

My experience with Chai Lifeline started when my sister was diagnosed with Crohns disease, since she was diagnosed she has been in and out of the hospital every few months constantly having tests or sugeries. The constant hospitlization and sickness was getting to her and she was no longer this absolutely jubilant person I used to know. 

Then Chai Lifeline came around and started bringing her to holiday events and started introducing her to kids like her and showing her that their are no limits. That summer she went to camp Simcah and had the most amazing time when she came back she couldn't stop talking about it until it was time for her to go again the next summer! She was finally the little sister I used to know once again.

Chai Lifeline is an amazing organization which provides year–round emotional, social, and financial support to more than 4,300 children and their families every year. Chai Lifeline´s programs and activities changes their lives forever, returning joy and hope and enabling them to live full and happy lives despite the presence of illness. Its most famous program is Camp Simcha (and its sister camp, Camp Simcha Special); every year these two camps offer 450 kids a chance to forget about illness and just be kids again.

I am biking the America’s Most Beautiful Bike Ride on their behalf. This ride is 100 miles in length circumnavigating Lake Tahoe. The training isn't easy, and the race itself will be quite a challenge too, but I am truly inspired by these children and their daily battle with life threatening or chronic illnesses. I plan to raise over $5000 by race day, and I hope you will help me reach this goal by making a generous tax-deductible donation.
