Our Cats Need Help

Our names are Kenny and Becca and we live in Portland, OR, with our three cats, Bella, Tigerlilly, and Loverboy.
We are two animal lovers who both work full-time, but who also often still struggle to make ends-meet both for ourselves, and for our cats. If you've ever been a pet owner who lives paycheck-to-paycheck, then you know how hard it can be to get the best possible health care for your pet, while also keeping a roof over their head and food in their bowl. Trips to the vet are often stressful not only because you're concerned about your pet, but because you may have to forgo more thorough and expensive care in-exchange for paying your rent on-time; these types of decisions are heartbreaking.
The day after Christmas of 2014 we brought Loverboy to the vet because he was displaying symptoms of an upper respiratory infection, and by New Years Day, we had lost him. It turned out that he had a rather large tumor in his liver which had spread to his lungs and it was much too late to save him. We are devastated by this loss. We also feel incredibly guilty because we can't help but think that if we were more financially secure, we would have been able to get Loverboy to the vet more-often, would have perhaps caught this issue sooner, and at the very least, would have been given more time to say goodbye to a wonderful cat who lived-up to his name in every way.
Between the numerous tests we ran at the end, the hospice care, and the cremation costs, we racked up a rather substantial vet bill for Loverboy. To make matters worse, our other two cats are both in desperate need of dental care, as well as getting their vaccines up-to-date. We'd also really love to run full blood panels on them, just to be absolutely certain we don't miss anything like we did with Loverboy; we can't go through that kind of shocking loss again.
We understand that for most people, money is a constant struggle, but if you can spare even a few dollars, we would be eternally grateful.
