Help JJ get some wheels!

JJ our beautiful, sweet, pig has had a broken back most of his life.  We want to give him the gift of mobility this Christmas so that he can get back to enjoying life.

He was given to us about a year ago with his back completely broken, to which we nursed him back to health the best we could, and appeared to have his mobility back to an extent, with some obvious trouble.  It was good enough for him, and at that was good enough for us.

Up until recently he was able to move on his back legs.  Since he has grown, the use of his back legs have stopped working, and he is forced to drag himself now to move around.

We are hoping that we can raise some money to have custom made back wheels so we can take him to the Grove with us, and he can see the world.

We were quoted at around $1,000 to have a custom set of rear wheels made for JJ, which will enable his back to be hoisted off the ground, and he can then use his front legs to push his body.  We think that showing people what JJ has overcome, when we are at the Grove, will touch people in a different way than our usual animals that we bring with us.  It's very important that we are able to show JJ to the world, where humans have lost their compassionate connection with the animals they inhabit the world with.  We believe that once people can reuinte with their animal brethren, that the world can be a more loving, and caring place.

Unfortunately the animal kingdom is not kind to it's  brothers and sisters that have disabilities, so we have been forced to keep JJ inside a pen away from the other pigs.  With wheels, we were hoping to get JJ out of his pen and out to see different places that he's never seen before.  He is a very sweet pig,he will always try his hardest to drag himself over to sniff you and ask to be petted.

We hope that you'll consider making this wish come true for JJ.  He is so humble that he would never ask us such a thing, but we feel it's in his best interest to get moving a quicker rates without hurting himself and dragging his body like he currently does.
