Carlos Adres Alvarez is a brown belt under Leonardo Iturralde under Fernando Soluco. He is currently living in Miami and attending Miami Dade College where he studies.
Carlos was born with Congenital Glaucoma and lost his vision completely 6 years ago when he was a blue belt. Today as a brown belt and active competitor, he has one dream. To teach others with blindness how to learn the beautiful art of Jiujitsu.
Currently Carlos is teaching in the garage of the house and is looking to get some puzzle mats to line the floor. The cost of the mats he is trying to get is $375.
Carlos loves jiujitsu. He told me it gave him so much confidence in dealing with his blindness. He wants to share that with others like himself.
Please help me raise a tiny bit of money that will go directly to such a worthy cause.
