Happy New Year!
I wanted to kick off this new year by getting ready to celebrate my birthday by partnering with our friends in Mozambique that have changed my life forever. We've had the privilege of meeting children and awesome people like Chico eleven years ago in Mozambique, Africa. Please watch the video to see how he was inspired to make a difference, which inspired us to help him make his dream a reality. So far we got to build homes for orphans but we have big dreams of opening up clinics and schools for those in need. Side note: my goal by 35 is to start a coffee farm in Mozambique that House Roots Coffee will buy coffee from.
I started off the campaign by donating $200 and I ask you to help me increase it tenfold. Every dollar will be going towards building a home for orphans that have no where to sleep and are in constant danger every night. I'll also see if there are any immediate needs butI'll keep all of you updated on exactly where the funds will go. I know it feels like building one home isn't making much of a difference but it starts with one village and one kid like Chico to spread generosity like a wildfire.
As much as I love grabbing a drink with you guys, please help me celebrate my 28th birthday by partnering with our friends in Mozambique. So unless you are going to cook me what's already in your pantry, save that money for that $20/person bill at Yardhouse or for that Lagavullin you were saving up all year to buy me
and partner with me! We can find a way to spend time without spending money if you are dying to hang out with me.
This is me and Chico right before I was covered in swine blood. Please if you are a vegan and you are still reading, I am totally joking.
This campaign will last until the end of January!
