Jimmy Hathaway and the Dodge Family
Jimmy Hathaway is a resident of Poestenkill, Father of nine, Grandfather of seven and a Teamster Truck driver at Tomra in Rotterdam.
In the winter of 2018 James Hathaway was given a grim diagnosis of esophageal cancer. Jimmy the resilient father of nine children and hard working Teamster battled against cancer enduring six months of radiation and chemo treatments, hammering it into remission in August of 2018 all while working to keep food on the table for the family.
After a grueling fight with cancer at a routine follow up during November of 2018 the family learned another tumor grew and spread to his throat. Continuing the fight against cancer Jim began a new round of mass chemo treatments.
After multiple surgical procedures and months of treatment there has been a tremendous physical and mental toll on Jim as well as the family. Throughout all of this struggle Jimmy has consistently maintained his incredible sense of humor and his stubborn willingness to maintain the fight to provide for his family.
Recently tests have shown concern that it may have spread to other areas. The family is financially exhausted and now has a looming concern of affording Health care and medical expenses.
Jim Hathaway has always been a role model of a hard working provider for his family, please help the Hathaway and Dodge family in their incredible time of need. This situation is urgent and I ask you to help and support in anyway possible our selfless friend.
