Jimi Hendrix Code
TL;DR
Emilie "Rainbow" Touraine is an awesome old woman working on finishing an educational project she started with Jimi Hendrix. However, she is struggling to stay housed so she can finish it.
--------------------------------------------
The Jimi Hendrix Code was originally conceived by musician Jimi Hendrix and painter Emilie "Rainbow" Touraine. When Jimi passed away on September 18, 1970, the responsibility for finishing this project was left to Rainbow.

Rainbow has been under constant threat of homelessness for the past several months, even ending up on the street once for a couple of days during which a few of her paintings was slashed and she was almost murdered.
She is seeking $1,000/month for the next five months to keep herself housed so she can work on the code and on paintings she can sell to get back on her feet. Without that security, she is unable to focus on finishing the code.
The Jimi Hendrix Code is a fully coordinated number-color-shape code using the visible light spectrum, plus black and white, and numbers 0-9, which can be applied to:
1) Arithmetic
2) Literacy
3) Music
4) Art (via color pigments)

Having taught English in Japan, I really wish I'd had this system available to me then. The Jimi Hendrix Code adds a layer of visualization that could help learners internalize the abstract symbols and concept that make up the foundation on which education is built.
