I'm a lifelong friend of Jim Young who recently passed away.
Jim was born and raised in Chaska, MN. He attended Guardian Angels grade school, Chaska High School (Class of 1984) and the University of Minnesota as an Evan's Scholar.
Jim "Spider" Young was an accomplished golfer, loved playing and coaching basketball and cherished his family. He spent some of his young adult life in San Diego where he met the love of his life Damaris Hernandez.
Jim is survived by Damaris and their three sons: Jim Jr., Henry and Carlos. The funds raised by this campaign will go directly to paying funeral expenses which will be held on Wednesday, November 23rd at 12pm noon at Guardian Angels Catholic church in Chaska. All remaining funds will go towards costs associated with his family's transition.
Jim was a great man that put endless amounts of laughter and joy into the lives of those who knew him.
At this time of Thanksgiving, I hope you can find it in your heart to assist in this worthy cause.
