My Dad has Multiple Myeloma Cancer

My Dad, my rock, my hero, my best friend, has been diagnosed with an aggressive form of Multiple Myeloma which is a cancer of the plasma cells in the bone marrow. 

It started earlier this year, when he started to have pain in his tailbone which progressed to a painful limp when he walks..His doctor gave him Xrays for his lower back where the pain is, as well as an MRI and a CT Scan where they ultimately found white dots on his spinal bone, which turned out to be Multiple Myeloma.

His doctor transferred him to a Myeloma Specialist and his chemo treatment plan started the very next day. The 2 week hospital stay for his chemo, his medications/ treatments, MRI/CT Scans and copays are piling up quickly. 

This go-fund me page was started as a way to help pay for his daily living expenses, tests, reoccurring scans and medication. With my dad not being able to work anymore, treatments, medical bills and daily living costs all add up quickly. I am asking those who are willing, to consider easing his financial burden and allow him to focus on healing.  Anything helps even the smallest amount and it all adds up. He is a strong soul with a huge loving heart and I know he can fight this and win.  Please keep my Dad in your thoughts and prayers. 

I will try to update this as we go through this journey..there are other treatment options we will explore soon. I'm afraid of what that will end up costing.
