Jim Lanteigne's Medical Fund

This is Jim Lanteigne. Some of you know him as YBBH, to some as BB, to his grandkids as Geegaw, to his stepdaughter as Dad, and most importantly as My Darling Husband by one, Leena Lanteigne. Leena and Jim have been married for 18 years and in love for much more than that, meeting at a distance over 20 years ago. Jim has had more than his fair share of health problems throughout their marraige, dealing with the effects of diabetes. Leena has been by his side for it all. Now Jim is in the greatest battle of his life and Leena is doing everything she can to be there with him every step of the way.




As most of our friends and family know, Jim is battling Stage 4 Pancreatic Cancer. He has been in 3 different hospitals 3 seperate times from April to now and has seen a whole slew of specialists. The hospital he is in now is over 2 hours away! No one was expecting this or was prepared for something like this to happen. Jim's health diclined in a blink of an eye. The doctors have informed our family that there is nothing else medically that they can do for him and that the next plan is to move him to hospice. 

This has hit our family hard, especially Leena. The hospital bills have already started coming in from his stay in April and we have yet to see what expenses all of this current stay will bring. On top of that, in order to spend as much time with Jim as possible, we are having to stay in a hotel away from home in order to be closer to him. We know this is only the beginning of the expenses and expect much more with hospice care and final costs. 

As their daughter, I have taken it upon myself to start this fund to ask for your help. Anything will make a great difference. If nothing else, we appreciate your love and prayers as well. Thank you so much!
