Jim Garmatter memorial fund

The Garmatter family suffered a tragic loss this week when Jim was taken due to a tragic accident that occurred Saturday December 9, 2017. My dear friend Anne discovered Jim, lifeless in the driveway after he had fallen from a ladder while adjusting the Christmas lights on the garage. From that moment on Saturday until he died on Tuesday, the Facebook message to pray for a miracle for Jim spread everywhere. Prayers that he would wiggle his finger, respond to Anne’s voice or focus his eyes on her were lifted up. Unfortunately the fractures in his skull were too severe and his brain had been without oxygen for too long. Jim was only alive because of a machine.
This existence was the opposite of Jim. To his many friends and family he was Superman. There was nothing he couldn’t build or fix. He was the rock of his family and his presence will never be replaced. He was a man full of life, who loved life.
I know this money will help Anne with funeral expenses, help her support their children Noah and Rachel as Jim would have, help her not feel worried to rush back to work or to worry about the medical bills that are coming.
Jim was a man with all of the best qualities that we honor in our husbands and fathers. He died while doing something to make Christmas special for his family. The world truly lost one of the good ones this week. He will never be forgotten. Please support Anne, Noah and Rachel this Christmas season.
