Jeff Turner (Jif) Funeral Fund

There will be a humanist funeral service for our dear departed friend Jeffrey 'Jif' Turner at the Manilva Crematorium on Wednesday, March 28th at 11.30 am.
Jeff died last week from a pulmonary embolism, it is believed that he died in his sleep and wouldn't have suffered.
The funeral will be followed by a wake at Ringo's Cavern Bar and Restaurant.
Any singers and musicians who wish to perform at either the funeral or at the wake are more than welcome (please PM Tony at Fathoms on his Facebook profile if you do).
Going forward the aim is to keep Ringos open under the current management so if you would like to come to the wake with a good thirst on spend generously this should secure the bar's immediate future!
It is requested that mourners donate to the memorial fund rather than send flowers.
Also if anyone would like to provide some snacks for the wake Holly will be at Ringo's from 9 am on the day for anyone to drop off food.
As many of you will know Jeff didn't have any family here in Spain and any funds he might have are tied up in probate which Dean is currently dealing with directly with the legitimate heirs in the UK, so the Duquesa Charitable Society of Saint George has set up a fund to raise the monies to cover the funeral, around 3,000 euros.
Once all the financial loose ends have been tied up the fund will be used to establish either an annual musical event or competition in Jeff's memory.
