Jianna's Fight

Hey all! I've set up this campaign in hopes to help a good friend with her nasty battle of cancer. She is dealing with a very aggressive type of cancer and the doctors and her have made the decision that hospice is most likely the  best choice right now. They're not sure how much time she has left but she is struggling financially with medical supplies and bills and such and could really use some financial peace. Every $1 helps. She is an incredible person and has a heart of gold but doesn't want to be a "bother" by asking for money even though she really needs it so I decided to take it into my own hands and help this sweet and absolutely phenomenal friend out. We worked at SLMC together but never really spoke until July of 2014 when my mom was in the hospital and was just flown out to Salt Lake City, I was getting in my car to leave and seen her and her family rushing in because her mom was taken to the ER and very sick also. This is what helped bring us together and even though it was a difficult situation for both of us, I'm so glad it brought me her. She is one of the greatest and most kind hearted people I've ever met and is just absolutely so deserving of some peace and love. Any amount of donation helps and if you are unable to donate, please send love, light, prayers, good vibes and anything else. Thank you so much.

Here is a message from Jianna:

"My name's Jianna Menapace, and in November 2015, a few months after I turned twenty, I was diagnosed with a rare and terminal cancer called juvenile granulosa cell cancer. By the time they found the cancer, the, it had metastasized to my liver, tendons, stomach, bowel, colon, spleen and kidneys. I was put on an extremely aggressive chemo and have been doing some type of treatment for the past 3 years. Unfortunately, none of the chemo worked and the cancer progressed until my doctors and I decided hospice was the best option. We decided to focus on quality of life since quantity was clearly going to be limited. I've been recovering from my last chemo since then. My last chemo, a combination called bleomycin, episode and Taxol, was particularly brutal. I lost 150 pounds in the course of seven months, having lost the ability to hold down not only food but water too. Now, with the new year and my deductible not being met, I owe out of pocket for all of my medications and plurex drainage bottles that connect to a catheter in my stomach that drains cancerous fluid from my belly. I'm working with patient financial assistance, but since I live with my parents, I don't qualify. If I could get ahead of my bills, and not have to worry if i'll be able to afford my prescription and bottles month to month, I would be so relieved and feel like I could focus a little more on enjoying the time I have left instead of worrying. I've been praying hard, but still I'm not sure how that's going to happen. My hope is this campaign which was set up by my very good friend will bring me some peace."
