Mary Agnes Krell spends most of her year planning one of the biggest Ukulele Events in the UK which gives hundreds of people inordinate amounts of joy but hardly makes any cash. Fact.
Mary Agnes Krell has had a pretty shitty year but she is still a fabulously positive person who hardly ever complains. Fact.
Today she posted this on Facebook: "i am homesick for the USA. i need to sell some ukuleles or otherwise sort some cash for a trip to the states. i think only a hug from my little brother Bernie Krell will sort this"
I reckon there are enough people who love Mary who will throw a few quid in the pot to help raise the cash needed for her to get home for some time with her family in LA.
The flight will be around £800, but I've set the target a little higher because I reckon a few extra pounds wouldn't be a bad thing.
