Bring Lolo home

Sadly, Saturday night our little Olivia was hit by a car. We rushed her to IVG Metrowest knowing we would do everything we had to make sure our beloved dog was given a chance to survive. She suffered several critical injuries to her head, lungs, heart and leg however our girl is a fighter and has been improving daily. Monday morning, after uncovering more issues to her heart, we had her transferred to Tufts to have specialists examine her and come up with a plan to tackle all her injuries. The next steps include providing her with a pacemaker to prepare her for surgery on her head. We continue to treat her after being told by multiple doctors that she has a solid chance to lead a normal life. Olivia also known as "Lolo" plays a major part in all of our family members' lives, including our other dog and her shadow Loki, and can't imagine not giving her the chance to fight.

Our brother Daniel is a Marine Corps Veteran who served active duty from 2010-2014. Recently, Daniel had a very hard time struggling with and being diagnosed with major depression disorder, anxiety , insomnia and other mental health conditions. Olivia has always been able to understand when he is at his worst and provides a type of therapeutic support veterans often need. She has always been there for him and now he asks for help to be there for her while she fights as hard as she can for her life.

We wish we could do this on our own and didn't have to ask for financial assistance, however veterinary care is very costly. We have been able to tackle a lot of the costs but there is still a lot to come. We ask, if possible, for any donation to help bring Liv home. If you can't make a monetary donation, we appreciate any positive thought, prayer and hope for our baby as we continue with her battle. Any of you who know Liv, know what a tough pup she is and we know she can make it though this.
