Jesspardy!

Ever since I can remember growing up, my dream has been to be on a game show. My earliest memories were always watching Jeopardy! as a kid, always marveling at how players could get clues in the ways they did so. Eventually, I learned that you have to study the world around you, both in and out of the classroom to succeed, and so I did! For many years, I was afraid to take the Jeopardy! test, in fear of how it would look, were I to fail, in light of self-consciousness. However, last year my intuition told me that there was no time like the present, and to heed Horace's advice in Odes: Carpe diem!

As it turns out, the test was a rousing success! I had passed! Better yet, fortune favored me to actually get lucky enough to secure an audition in New York City on April 21st to audition; one step away from becoming an actual player of the childhood show of my dreams.

Unfortunately, this is where my luck runs out a touch. As it stands currently, I cannot afford this trip out and live my dream in New York without your help. Things add up quickly in this auditioning process, especially when you consider the train rides, meals, GoFundMe fees, and taxis. Especially the taxis as a hidden cost, since I need to get both to get around NYC, but also to get home from home from the train station as well, which is quite a price considering I live quite far away from the appropriate station! Given the nearing date of the audition, this money will likely be needed soon, likely by April 17th at the latest, given the delays in processing and receiving funds.
