Jerrys Emergency Surgery Fund

Jerry is a loving father of four beautiful girls and devoted husband to his wife Aida. Jerry is a caring person that is always there to help any of his friends or family in times of need. Jerry is not the type of person to ask for help because supporting his family means so much to him. On the night of 1/7/17 Jerry had a brain anurism rupture while at home with his daughters. Jerry is currently in the ICU under an enduced coma. On 1/9/17 he had surgery to stop the bleeding of the first aneurysm. The doctors reported more aneurysms
after a cat scan and he will be having another surgery next week to fix the other aneurysms before those rupture. Jerry will be in a enduced coma until his next surgery, and will remain in ICU for two weeks and then another two months for the remaining recovery.
6 years ago, Jerry was struck by a drunk driver while waiting at a stop light on his way to work. Jerry was in the ICU for a month needing a series of surgeries and more time to recover. Over time, the medical bills increased. Even with health insurance it wasn't enough to cover the almost $100,000 in medical expenses. During this time Jerry has held a full time job as an aerospace welder to support his family. His wife also works full time to help with all of their medical expenses. Jerry experienced severe migranes which led him to a specialist to find out the root cause. He found out he has brain aneurysms caused by his previous accident. Jerry was told that surgery was necessary; but with the high cost it was not an option for him and his family. Jerry has continued to work and not worry about his issue with the hopes that the aneurysms would not progress any. Focused on loving, supporting and growing his family, Jerry never gave up on life and I know is still fighting. Please find the compassion and love in your heart to support an amazing family in their time of need.
