Jeremy Jr. is the sweetest boy with the best smile and giggle that spreads happiness to everyone.  On November 11, 2014, Junior went into sidden cardiac arrest.

His loving parents, Alison and Jeremy, woke to Junior screaming. They quickly jumped to see what was wrong and within seconds knew something very tragic was happening. Alison called 911 and Jeremy immediately performed CPR, therefore saving his life.  He was life-flighted to the Janet Weis Children's hospital where he remained for one month. He was then transferred to the Hershey Rehabilitation hospital for extensive therapy.

Junior is medically stable now but went a significant amount of time without adequate oxygen to the brain and now suffers an annoxic brain injury. The brain scans done showed "catastropic brain damage" however, Junior has shown some great improvement while in rehabilitation.

Junior is no longer able to move and coordinate movement like he used to. The doctors say he has movements of a one month old. He also is not able to eat from the mouth so he has a feeding tube. He has issues with extreme agitation while his brain is starting to heal. Junior has a very long road of recovery.

Any help is greatly appreciated. Jeremy's father is not working as many hours at the moment to help with Junior and the costs are very high. The rehabilitation facility is two hours from their home and there is a therapy that seems promising but insurance does not cover it.

I'm starting this campaign in hopes to take some of the financial stress off of these wonderful parents so that they may continue to focus on their little one without having to worry about any medical costs or lost wages.

This family needs any relief they can get.  Please keep them in your thoughts.

I just found emails with recent donations and wanted to give a thank you to everyone who has helped us on this journey. The added expense in the last few months has been over the top. I always had sympathy for those in these situations but never truly understood the actual financial impact it has on a family. It can be draining and frustrating when you can't get the things your child needs. But with the help of so many, it was made easier and we thank you from the bottom of our hearts. I was always one to give when I could (and sometimes when I really couldn't) and feel it has come back my way. So, thank you all so much!

Thanks everyone for recent and old donations! I know I have not updated much on here since Junior has been home. He is currently having sensory issues and we are working to find equipment that can fit his needs so that he can be comfortable. Your donations carried us through while he was in the hospital and all the expenses that come with that and we could not be more thankful. We are now looking into additional therapies that are not covered by insurance to better help Junior's progress. He reached a milestone recently by rolling over!

Just sharing an update on Jeremy Junior. He has officially been at rehab for one month now. He has been showing much improvement in the last 2-3 weeks. Doctors say his movements are that of a one month old. His recent progress shows that the brain damage is indeed severe but might not be as severe as originally thought. We are currently looking into starting some fundraisers in our area to help out with the cost of everything including a therapy that is not covered by insurance that may include travel. I appreciate all the help and support everyone has given us. If we get the fundraisers together, I hope everyone can get together to see Junior's progress.
