Therapy funds for Jeremy Jr
Jeremy Jr. is the sweetest boy with the best smile and giggle that spreads happiness to everyone. On November 11, 2014, Junior went into sidden cardiac arrest.
His loving parents, Alison and Jeremy, woke to Junior screaming. They quickly jumped to see what was wrong and within seconds knew something very tragic was happening. Alison called 911 and Jeremy immediately performed CPR, therefore saving his life. He was life-flighted to the Janet Weis Children's hospital where he remained for one month. He was then transferred to the Hershey Rehabilitation hospital for extensive therapy.
Junior is medically stable now but went a significant amount of time without adequate oxygen to the brain and now suffers an annoxic brain injury. The brain scans done showed "catastropic brain damage" however, Junior has shown some great improvement while in rehabilitation.
Junior is no longer able to move and coordinate movement like he used to. The doctors say he has movements of a one month old. He also is not able to eat from the mouth so he has a feeding tube. He has issues with extreme agitation while his brain is starting to heal. Junior has a very long road of recovery.
Any help is greatly appreciated. Jeremy's father is not working as many hours at the moment to help with Junior and the costs are very high. The rehabilitation facility is two hours from their home and there is a therapy that seems promising but insurance does not cover it.
I'm starting this campaign in hopes to take some of the financial stress off of these wonderful parents so that they may continue to focus on their little one without having to worry about any medical costs or lost wages.
This family needs any relief they can get. Please keep them in your thoughts.
