We love you Franta family.

Three days ago a young family received devastating news that has shaken their entire world. Jeremy Fanta, husband, father, son, and friend to many, was diagnosed with Multiple Myeloma, an incurable blood cancer. Thankfully it can be treated and hopefully put in remission for a few years,  however Jeremy and his loved ones face a long and hard fight against this horrible disease.
Six weeks ago Jeremy fell at work and was transported to the hospital, and for six weeks he laid in a bed, unable to move, and with no diagnoses. Jeremy is self-employed and therefore has no income while he is in the hospital. He faces surgery to repair his back, probably 32 weeks of chemotherapy , radiation , or a shorter more intense round of chemotherapy followed by a stem cell transplant. This ,of course ,will make it almost impossible for him to work.
Shjannon, his sweet wife, will be left with trying to work full time , look after their two little girls, and be a caregiver to Jeremy. We love this family, as many of you do, and we want to help out anyway possible and so we are asking you to donate funds to help them get through this period. So let's pass by Starbucks or our Canadian Timmies ,or a quick meal out and instead donate to this worthy cause. Let's face it, all of us can cut back somewhere to help someone else if it's really important to us. Let's let our children take back pop bottles, or donate their allowances, so they learn how to be compassionate and giving and see that we are all part of this big world and each of them can contribute to a better planet. Every dollar will make their fight easier. Please help this lovely young couple whether you know them or not. LET'S PAY IT FORWARD  like we have been taught to do. Let's help Jeremy be able to raise his little girls. They deserve their daddy!
I'm am sponsoring this couple , firstly because they are my niece and nephew, and secondly because I know what this family is going through. My name is Alana Bourque and as many of you know I have been fightening an incurable disease called Amyloidosis. I was given three to five years life expectancy and not a chance of a kidney transplant. I now stand at five years with amyloidosis in remission and a brand new kidney transplant. I only add this so you can understand that Jeremy's case is not hopeless but we must, as every friend and family member , step out of the wood work and take a hard look at what we can do to bring Jeremy into remission yet keep his sweet family intact. All funds will go directly to Shjannon for her to use at her own descretion.
