Jeremiah STRONG Against ChildCancer

I am going to walk you through the  heart and eyes of a MOTHER with undying hope and faith...

My aunt Elicia Solis is a three time cancer survivor. She was first diagnosed with terminal cancer at the age of 24. When the doctors broke the news to her, all she thought about wa her two children and how they could possibly grow up to be without their mother. During that time, Elicia did not give up on hope and her Lord. She made sure to do all she could to make sure her children would aways remain safe and secure no matter the circumstance. After months, surgery, and growing faith, Elicia was blessed to overcome the cancer and was able to enjoy and embrace her children with no worry. Elicia was able to continue to live her life close to who is now her husband and her two children at the time.

Until one day, her fate was tested and her life began to change. Her eight year old daughter at the time was diagnosed with terminal cancer. Here Elicia was with her daughter fighting cancer, Elicia showing no weakness to remain strong for her daughter, and countlessly being on both knees in prayer. After traveling to and from the top hospitals in Boston, MA with the music blaring of Christian music while they travel to receive chemotherapy and radiation Elicia grew stronger in faith with the Lord in her heart as well as her daughter's. They were strong together hand in hand. Until her daughter's 11th year, she took her last breathe and went with the Lord.

As a mother, Elicia's life had changed. What was once her own battle became her daughter's. She then realized life was too short and grew closer to her Lord and what was now her only child and newly husband. Elicia could no longer have children. Her husband had never had children and wanted some, but saw her's like his own. Until one day a miracle from God happened. Elicia was pregnant and gave birth to a little boy named Jeremiah A. Solis on July 19th 2008. Elicia and her husband never gave up on the beauties, blessings, and fate of life.

Elicia along with her husband Jerry and her son Jose grew stronger in their fear for the Lord as Elicia thought she could never have children again, Jerry thought he would never have his own child, and Jose never thought he would have another sibling again... Jeremiah is truly a miracle baby. Seeing Jeremiah every day was living proof that there is a Lord. Jeremiah's family would always make him happy and give him all he wanted. Elicia was yet diagnosed again but with Breast Cancer then Gastric Cancer in September of 2015. During this time she had the love and support from her family and friends. Jeremiah would always kiss her and remind her that all will be okay. Elicia once again overcame it and Jeremiah was right, everything was okay.

Jeremiah is a young boy who loves to sing John Legend and other famous songs. While he sings, he loves an audience which was always his family lol. He loves to watch the Minions movies and is undefeatable in all video games (pretty impressive). His favorite subject in school is Spelling; he always gets an A+. Jeremiah loves the New York Yankees. And when asked what he wants to be when he gets olde he says, "I want to be just like my dad."

Every year for Jeremiah's birtday they would throw him a big birthday in celebration of another year on this earth. Until his 7th birthday on July 19th, 2015 at his Ninja Turtles birthday party. Jeremiah a child full of happiness, laughter, and energy was laying on a couch tired and pale. He was brought to the hospital where yet again Elicia and her familie's faith was tested. "CANCER." Atypical Teratoid Rhabdoid Tumor to be exact. That is a RARE fast growing tumor in the brain. It is so RARE that it only hits 2 to 3% of children.  And Jeremiah is in that small percentage.

Elicia once again with all the hurt in her heart but strength from her Lord woud drive to and from the three top hospitals in the North East for treatment. Elicia was in remission for her cancer and no longer worried about her own health but only worried about her son's. No matter the circumstance Jeremiah has been full of life and loves to sing. He would sing on his way to Boston at the top of his lungs with his mother Elicia as his singing partner. Jeremiah has also brought happiness to his father Jerry who he sees as his best friend. Jeremiah knew exactly when his father would get out of work, and the moment his father would sit down on the couch, he would crawl up his father's shoulders and sit there. His father has and always will be his idol.

At this time, Jeremiah is currenly 8 years old and has been battling cancer now for a year and 3 months. The top three hospitals in Boston, MA have sent him home with nothing more they can do for him. During this time his family has had sleepless nights, scrapes on their knees from praying, and faith in their eyes. The Solis family has had the love and support of their family and friends but are in financial hardship. As Jerimiah is battling for his life, and lays on a couch, with his eyes closed, unable to speak, with no motor ability his family seeks other treatment trials to help save his life. His family states they wuld give their all to be able to hear his voice sing again. They need the help of family, friends, and believers to help them get through this tribulation. They have mutiple expenses which include Medical bill, travel expenses, and the possiblity of other treatment alternatives. One includes treatment from another country that is not covered by insurance.
