Jenny Wentzell - Cataract surgery

Hi, Everyone in the tennis community
Jenny Wentzell from the Noarlunga Tennis Club is losing her sight and has been told by her doctor that he will be unable to provide her with permission to drive next year when she has to renew her licence. Jenny needs cataract surgery in both her eyes and has limited vision at this stage. She also has some Macular deterioration in one of her eyes. There is a 2 year waiting list for cataract surgery or if she wants to get it done sooner it will cost her $2,000.
Jenny is 74 and has been an active and invaluable Life Time member of the Noarlunga Tennis Club for over 40 years. In that time she has played, served on many committees, assisted and run the Canteen, volunteered for every event the club has held and has been the mainstay of our Tuesday morning tennis programme, for retired and shift worker local players, for over 20 years.
We cannot say enough that Jenny is an absolute stalwart of our club and we are asking for your assistance in helping us raise the $2,000 for Jenny to have the surgery done immediately.
It would be a great relief for her and she would most definitely appreciate your donation.
